To fulfill this goal, we must protect the environments in which we work and live and also focus on something really important : waste management. Waste that is not properly managed can create serious health or social problems in a community. Our engineers have thought about this when they developed a clean technology called ECOSTERYL for the treatment of medical waste combining, in a continuous process, powerful shredding with dry and microwave core-heating of waste.

Our devices treat the most effectively waste that involves risk produced by health care, known as biomedical wastes, and decontaminate all kind of waste, solid or liquid, including the sharp or prickly ones.

Microbiological efficacy : Based on different tests that have been carried out, we can assume that the environmental incidence on water and air of the Ecosteryl process is negligible. An assessment of the microbiological efficacy of the process was conducted by the French Conseil Supérieur d'Hygiène Publique and Pasteur's institute.

Dust : A suction system (Serial 250 only) designed to keep dust from being blown over the loading and removal hopper. The air treatment by washing, disinfection, deodorizing and filtration over activated charcoal preserves the quality of the rejected air.

Wash water and treatment water : Town water is fed through a disconnector, thereby preventing any fluid from returning to the drinking water system. The wastewater is disinfected before its rejection into the sewer.

Environmental compatibility : No harmful air emissions or liquid discharges after the treatment of biomedical waste.
